The client agrees to the following

1. Liability Policies

❖ Cherry Dog Walking agrees to provide services stated in this contract in a reliable and  trustworthy manner. In consideration of these services and as an express condition thereof,  the client expressly waives any and all claims against Cherry Dog Walking, unless arising from  gross negligence on the part of Cherry Dog Walking. Client agrees to notify Cherry Dog Walking of any concerns within 24 hours of returning the dog(s) home. 

❖ Cherry Dog Walking cannot be responsible for your dog(s) that bite, suffer an accidental death  or escape from faulty fencing or from inside your home due to faulty screens, doors, etc. 

❖ It is the responsibility of the client to provide correctly fitting and secure collars/harness. 

❖ Cherry Dog Walking cannot be responsible for any complications dog(s) may suffer or actions  of dog(s) while they are unattended.  

❖ Cherry Dog Walking shall not be held responsible for the loss, injury, death, or actions of any  dog(s) that the client has let outside or has instructed Cherry Dog Walking to allow outside  while we are not there. This includes dog(s) with doggie doors and outdoor dog(s).  

❖ The client understands that all dog(s) (where appropriate) must have a veterinarian and must  be up to date on the rabies vaccination. Client agrees to reimburse Cherry Dog Walking for all costs (including, but not limited to, medical care and lost wages) associated with contracting any ailments while exposed to dog(s).  

❖ Cherry Dog Walking will not walk acutely ill animals or those with uncontrolled medical  conditions.  

❖ Cherry Dog Walking does not accept aggressive animals. Client agrees to be responsible for  all costs (including, but not limited to, medical care, attorney fees, etc) if client’s dog(s) should bite another person or animal. 

❖ Cherry Dog Walking reserves the right to cut short any walk due to injury of the dog(s), excess  weather conditions i.e. icy surfaces that could cause your dog(s) to become injured or extremes of heat that could cause some dog(s) breathing difficulties or heatstroke.  

❖ In very hot conditions your dog(s) will be walked, if possible, in shady areas and at a time that may be earlier or later than usual to avoid the hottest part of the day. 

❖ Cherry Dog Walking will not walk unruly or untrained dog(s) or dog(s) that choke themselves on  their leash.  All dog(s) must be walked on a leash, no exceptions.  

❖ Cherry Dog Walking does not diagnose, prognose, or make therapy decisions, nor does it  offer veterinary services.  Any veterinary/medical concerns will be referred to a veterinarian.  

❖ Client authorises Cherry Dog Walking to obtain the services of a locksmith should a  key/garage opener malfunction at the client’s premises in order to gain access to the dog(s).  Client is responsible for all charges.  

❖ Job sharing is not covered under our insurance.  We cannot be responsible for your dog(s) or  home if another service provider enters your property while we are not there.  

❖ The Terms & Conditions of this agreement are subject to future change by Cherry Dog  Walking upon 30 days written notice setting forth such change.


2.Cancellation Policy:

❖ Cancellations must be received within 24 hours of scheduled visit or a cancellation fee

may be incurred.

❖ Cherry Dog Walking reserves the right to deny service or terminate service because of 

safety concerns, financial concerns, or inappropriate or uncomfortable situations.

❖ Cherry Dog Walking reserves the right to cancel a scheduled walk/service, giving 24 

hours’ notice to the client where possible.

3.Business Hours:

❖ Business and visiting hours fall between the hours of 7am and 5pm, Monday to Friday, 

excluding Bank Holidays and service is usually completed during this time unless we are 

behind schedule. 

❖ Cherry Dog Walking will not accept time specific calls as we cannot guarantee specific times 

accurately.  A two-hour window is acceptable.

4. Emergencies:

❖ Client agrees to authorise Cherry Dog Walking to handle any emergencies that may arise.  Cherry Dog Walking will make every effort to contact client, however client gives Cherry Dog  Walking authority to act in the dog(s)’s/home’s best interest. 

❖ Cherry Dog Walking requires you to have a responsible party to take care of your dog(s) in  the event of unforeseen circumstances such as illness and in the event of inclement weather or a natural disaster.  

5. Payment Arrangement:

❖ Payment is expected within 5 days of the completion of services or a late charge of £10 will 

be applied, unless otherwise agreed.

❖ Where no payment is received, Cherry Dog Walking will no longer continue to provide a 

service until payment is made in full.

❖ Payment methods are bank transfer, monthly standing order or cash.
